The Ralph K. Morris Foundation is a nonprofit corporation which provides development opportunities for emerging leaders expressing interest in applying and advancing the principles of cooperation, and in promoting farmland preservation, land stewardship and sustainability.

Provides financial support to help cover costs associated with training, professional development and educational programs for young and emerging leaders interested in the future of cooperatives and rural communities.

This Fund provides financial support to graduate students or law school students enrolled in an agricultural cooperative program or that can demonstrate how their field of study would relate to or benefit the agricultural cooperative industry.

The Rod Nilsestuen Legacy Program at UW River Falls commemorates Rod’s achievements and sustains his legacy. The Program’s mission is to encourage creative thinking, research, education and outreach in the areas of cooperative business and development, wise rural land use and leadership. An annual event includes a special luncheon for students, faculty, staff, and guests as well as a presentation open to all.

The Tom Lyon Family Leadership Symposium is the foundation's flagship event and is highlighted by the annual announcement and introducation of the Elroy Webster Cooperative Studies Scholarship recipients, as well as guest speakers and foundation updates. 

The Louis Doering
Keynote Luncheon

The Louis Doering Keynote Luncheon is hosted annually during the National Farmers Union College Conference on Cooperatives in Minneapolis. Honoring the legacy of a consummate cooperator and conversation starter, the event welcomes local cooperative leaders to join students for a networking lunch and keynote.
